Ep 31: Isaac Garza with Kyle Mooney’s Chris Fitzpatrick

From his pre SNL days with the West Coast comedy troupe Good Neighbor to his time as a Not Ready For Primetime Player at 30 Rock, Kyle Mooney’s Chris Kirkpatrick is one of his most original character yet. This alternative culture embracing, secretly sensitive high school student is not everyone’s cup of Mountain Dew. Luckily for us, he is exactly the kind of character Austin’s Isaac Garza loves to watch. Fresh off his film debut on HBO Max with the dramedy short “Pepito”, Isaac explains why he feels Kyle Mooney’s tenure on SNL hasn’t been properly tapped. Maybe we need more Chris Fitzpatrick videos? Or maybe we need more characters who don’t deliver punchlines as much as exist between the punchlines? The only way to know is to listen to this episode.

“I didn’t really know anyone like this growing up” ~ Isaac
