Ep 26: Annemarie Cullen with Rachel Dratch’s Virginia Klarvin

The best way to listen to this episode with Brooklyn writer and performer Annemarie Cullen? Get into a hot tub, nibble on some lamb shanks, and caress the robust beard hair of your “luvah.” Hmmmmmm. Say it… “luv-ah.” And you will love her as she shares her admiration for Rachel Dratch’s Virginia Klarvin. It’s easy to over look anyone who shares the scene with Will Ferrell, but Annemarie reminds us just how powerful a comedic force the underrated Dratch is. We talk a lot of human behavior, being a “regular person”, and what makes someone “interesting.” Annemare knows what she’s talking about. And if she doesn’t, she’s more than willing to pretend.

“Maybe he’s her first, but she’s not his.” ~ Annemarie
